An Introduction to DrawWorks LP Product Series
DrawWorks L.P. is kicking off a series of news articles to introduce our new and existing products and to get your feedback. To start we want to give you an idea of who we are, what we are about and how we are working hard to stay ahead of your needs.
Who Are We?
DrawWorks has over 50 years experience in research and design of oilfield tools. We are a privately owned company committed to excellence in everything we do. Our company received recognition from Texas A&M University Mays School of Business and Center for New Ventures & Entrepreneurship as one of the 100 fastest growing companies founded or managed by a graduate of the University. We have a fleet of patented quality products that are reliable and built to meet the special requirements of our clients. We are located in Boling Texas, a small town near Houston.
What Are We About?
We focus on circulating, fill-up, and flow-back tools for oilfield tubulars, including casing, tubing, and drill pipe. Our history of research and design has made us very knowledgeable in valve and seal technology. Our equipment has been used on the largest drill ships in the Gulf of Mexico by the major oil and gas companies. We are always ready to help meet our client’s needs, even if we have to design special equipment. One of our exciting special design projects was a piece of equipment that could be used in the Gulf of Mexico to allow the control of annulus in deep water (>5,000 ft.) while running an inner string of drill pipe inside of a liner hanging in the riser. We are ready to work with each individual client to make sure that our products and services will help them meet their unique and specific goals. We are now in the prototype stages of our new (CRT) Casing Running Tool and (FMS) Flush Mount Spider.
How Are We Staying Ahead?
We have a reputation for innovation, which is strengthened by the increasing number of patented products we have, and continue to produce. Technology is always advancing and we are committed to advancing with it. We always use the latest technology in Computer-Aided Design, including FEA and flow analysis.
We are excited to be kicking off this series to show you specifically what we have to offer. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and join our email list so you can stay up to date.
